Greg Baltz

Greg supports the organizing work of community-based tenants’ rights groups across New York City, providing group representation in housing cases as well as strategic support for campaigns. He previously represented immigrant workers organizing to challenge wage theft and discrimination as a Ford Foundation Fellow at Make the Road New York. As a law student, Greg defended members of City Life/Vida Urbana in eviction proceedings, collaborating closely with tenants and organizers in multi-faceted anti-displacement campaigns. Prior to law school, he lived in Annunciation House, a shelter on the U.S.-Mexico border that offers sanctuary to migrants and refugees. Greg is a graduate of Georgetown University and Harvard Law School.
