Daniel Carpenter-Gold

Daniel Carpenter-Gold is a Staff Attorney in the Equitable Neighborhoods practice. Before coming to TakeRoot, Daniel was a fellow at the Natural Resources Defense Council, where he worked on litigation related to lead contamination in Newark’s drinking-water supply and indoor environmental hazards in NYCHA housing. Prior to that, he was a fellow at New York Lawyers for the Public Interest, where he helped NYC tenants protect themselves from asthma triggers and other allergens as part of NYLPI’s Healthy Homes initiative. Daniel has a J.D. from Harvard Law School and a B.A. from Columbia University.
