Kimberly Fayette

Kimberly is a Staff Attorney in the Workers’ Rights practice area. She graduated from Brown University and the New York University School of Law, where she was a Root-Tilden-Kern Public Interest Scholar. Prior to joining TakeRoot, she served as a Justice Catalyst-Public Rights Project Fellow at the New York City Commission on Human Rights, where she worked on a variety of anti-discrimination matters and engaged in advocacy efforts around hair discrimination. During law school, Kimberly participated in the Racial Equity Strategies and Civil Rights Clinics, interned at the New York Attorney General’s Civil Rights Bureau and the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund, and served as a student fellow at NYU’s Center on Race, Inequality, and the Law. She is fluent in Haitian-Creole.
