Nasoan’s work in the Consumer Justice practice involves collaborating with community partners to provide free legal clinics, teach community education workshops, participate in legislative campaigns and defend alleged debtors in state and federal court. Nasoan is also an active member of the NYC Bar Association’s Civil Court committee and she volunteers for CLARO in the Bronx as a legal expert for a brief advice legal project for low-income consumers held in the Bronx Civil Court. Prior to joining TakeRoot Justice, she was an associate at the elder law firm Goldfarb Abrandt Salzman & Kutzin LLP. She obtained her J.D. from CUNY School of Law, her Master’s of Journalism from UC Berkeley, and her B.A. from Clark University.
