Aline is a Senior Advocacy Coordinator & DOJ Fully Accredited Representative on the Immigrants’ Rights team and a member of TakeRoot’s Holistic Abolition of Prisons and Police Everywhere Now Working Group (HAPPEN). Aline is also a proud collective member of GenSex NYC and Black Legal Observer Collective (BLOC). Before joining TakeRoot Justice fka Community Development Project at UJC, Aline was the Project Coordinator for the Immigrant Women and Children’s Project at the City Bar Justice Center. Aline holds a B.A. in International Relations and a minor in Dance from Tufts University. Outside of work and building with folks, Aline can be found cooking, gardening, or enjoying the company of friends.
