Aline Gue

Aline is a paralegal in the Immigrants’ Rights practice area. Before joining TakeRoot Justice, Aline was a coordinator for the Immigrant Justice Project at the City Bar Justice Center providing immigration legal services for survivors of violent crimes; a facilitator and coordinator of GenSex NYC (a volunteer-organized citywide anti-oppression gender and sexuality workshop); and an intern at the Bellevue/NYU Program for Survivors of Torture working on access to benefits with asylees. Aline graduated from Tufts University with a B.A. in International Relations and a minor in Dance (2012). Outside of trying to do all things intersectionality- and social justice-oriented, Aline can be found reading a book, taking a dance class, or enjoying the company of friends.
