Lauren is a staff attorney in the Capacity Building practice. Before joining TakeRoot Justice, Lauren represented tenants with the Legal Aid Society in Queens. Prior to law school, she worked as an organizer and an educator with Tibetan communities in New York and Dharamsala, India. Lauren received her J.D. from the CUNY School of Law and B.A. in Political Science from Kenyon College.
