Summary
CDP, in partnership with Community Voices Heard (CVH), Community Action for Safe Apartments (CASA), Cypress Hills Local Development Corporation (CHLDC), Pratt Center for Community Development, Association for Neighborhood Housing Development (ANHD), Hester Street Collaborative (HSC), and the Center for Urban Pedagogy (CUP) developed this proposal calling for a more comprehensive and coordinated approach to documenting, monitoring, overseeing and enforcing all public and private commitments made to communities during the rezoning processes. This includes developing a new mayoral office to provide overall agency coordination, oversight and accountability that would work in conjunction with neighborhood monitoring committees in each rezoned neighborhood.
